GTS Plumbing wins 'The Plumbers and Drainers Board Environmental Plumber of the Year Award'

Each year, the Master Plumbers’ Association of Queensland hold the Plumbing Industry Awards. This year, GTS Plumbing was the proud recipient of the ‘The Plumbers and Drainers Board Environmental Plumber of the Year Award’.

The Plumbers and Drainers Board has continued to sponsor the Environmental Plumber of the Year Award for 2008. The Plumbers and Drainers Board Environmental Plumber of the Year Award is presented to the most outstanding candidate who displays a knowledge and aptitude for performing and installing environmentally sustainable plumbing.

The Plumbers and Drainers Board is responsible for:

• Administering the occupational licensing system for plumbers and drainers 
• Monitoring the operation of the occupational licensing system
• Determining & promoting acceptable standards of competence for the trade
• Investigating complaints about plumbing and drainage work
• Consulting on national policy development, and
• Undertaking appropriate disciplinary action against licensees
